Mel Fetter - CEO

Mel has over thirty (30) years experience in healthcare administration and finance. This tenure has included experience in hospital administration and finance, medical group management and most recently, behavioral healthcare. Mr. Fetter served as Vice President for Research Mental Health Services, a part of Health Midwest, from 1989 through 1997. In 1997, Mr. Fetter joined the staff of Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare in the capacity of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Fetter currently fills the role of Chief Executive Officer for Pathways, and President and Chief Executive Officer for Midwest Behavioral Healthcare Management, Inc. Mr. Fetter has provided numerous consultations to other community-based providers throughout Missouri, as well as working on numerous committees with the Department of Mental Health in relation to program development and finance. Mr. Fetter has served as past chair of Missouri Coalition of Community Health Centers and past chair of the Fiscal Officers section of the Coalition. Mr. Fetter is past Board Chairman of the Community Network for Behavioral Healthcare (CommCare) in the Western Region. Additionally, he served as the Board President of CeMo Cares of Central Missouri. Mr. Fetter also serves as current Board Chairman of the Lafayette County Mental Health Board, the Health Care Coalition of Lafayette County, and the Citizens Advisory Board of Missouri Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Division District 5.
