Prevention & Education
Pathways is a Regional Support Center for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Services include:
- Training & technical assistance to community teams, task forces and coalitions in identifying community needs, encouragement of collaboration among organizations and education on developing plans of action. We also help our communities stay abreast of state and national policies and goals as well as advocate for local policy change.
- Educational prevention programs are available for schools, businesses and community organizations and are presented by prevention specialists from the Regional Support Center. Educational services are provided on a fee- for-service basis.
Suicide Prevention: The QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention program is available FREE for any community group/organization/business that is interested in learning how to save lives and prevent suicide. The program raises awareness, dispels myths and teaches skills that can help save a life.
