Pathways utilizes an individualized, holistic approach to
recovery. Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment Services incorporate
three different levels of treatment including an intensive
residential component, intensive outpatient services and supported
recovery.
Level I Residential and Day Treatment
The residential component of Comprehensive Substance Treatment and Rehabilitation
program (CSTAR) consists of a 24-bed unit that provides daily structured activities
including:
- individual counseling
- group counseling
- group education
- family counseling
- community support
- daily living activities with the treatment focus on substance
abuse issues
The day treatment component is seven hours of structured daily
activity including individual counseling, group counseling,
educational groups, family counseling and community support
with treatment focus on substance abuse issues.
Level II Intensive Outpatient
This level
of treatment is offered to adolescents who require active participation
to treat their substance abuse issues, but who don't require
daily structure.
Level III Supported Recovery
This component
is the least intensive level and is intended to assist adolescents
to maintain abstinence from drugs and alcohol.
