Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment Services

Pathways utilizes an individualized, holistic approach to recovery. Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment Services incorporate three different levels of treatment including an intensive residential component, intensive outpatient services and supported recovery.

Level I Residential and Day Treatment
The residential component of Comprehensive Substance Treatment and Rehabilitation program (CSTAR) consists of a 24-bed unit that provides daily structured activities including:

  • individual counseling
  • group counseling
  • group education
  • family counseling
  • community support
  • daily living activities with the treatment focus on substance abuse issues

The day treatment component is seven hours of structured daily activity including individual counseling, group counseling, educational groups, family counseling and community support with treatment focus on substance abuse issues.

Level II Intensive Outpatient
This level of treatment is offered to adolescents who require active participation to treat their substance abuse issues, but who don't require daily structure.

Level III Supported Recovery
This component is the least intensive level and is intended to assist adolescents to maintain abstinence from drugs and alcohol.
